Henkel introduced a polyurethane sealant that does not require a primer or activator and can be applied cold, the new TEROSON PU 9092, which reduces materials and time in the vehicle glass replacement process. The sealant is UV-resistant and has high viscosity, with a low level of slump during application. Its high elasticity provides greater resistance to the movements and impacts to which vehicles may be exposed. The curing process is 20 minutes, allowing the car to be used 3 hours after the windshield has been replaced.
TEROSON® PU 9092 PL is a black, thixotropic, high-modulus, and high-viscosity modified polyurethane sealant. It is quick-setting and moisture-cured, and is highly recommended for windshield bonding in automobile glass replacement (AGR). It provides excellent adhesion to materials such as glass, ceramic, painted or unpainted metal (aluminum, steel, etc.), and cut polyurethane (PU) rubber, among others.
